Naren Tayal currently advises clients on global investment opportunities and fund asset allocations, specializing in emerging and frontier market analysis and due diligence. He was most recently a General Partner at Macquarie Bank Capital. Prior to this, Naren was an International Investment Manager at Intel Capital. Before joining Intel, Naren was Managing Director of Asia-Pacific for Sybase Inc., and Director of Marketing at MDI (NYSE: SY).
Naren has served as a board member, and board advisor to several companies such as Greengrocer (NYSE: WMT), Onebox (NASD: OPWV), Redfern Broadband Networks, and Blaze Network Products (NYSE: OMRNY). He advises academic institutions such as the University of Colorado Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Naren is a Gerson Lehrman Group Scholar, a member of the Society of Industry Leaders, and a member of Guidepoint Global. Naren is a legacy member of the Big Sur Land Trust.
